| Self centring chucks - SELF-CENTRING INCLINED PLANES CHUCKS - MW TWO JAWS | | Self-centring double acting chucks powered by pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
Description and application of the MW chuck.
The chuck is produced in steel to meet the application requirements of the customer.
The MW chuck is usually used on special swarf remover machines, so as to block the item during the work phase with absolute precision and increased tightening torque compared with the lever chuck.
The guide is not the integral type, as in the M or C chuck, but achieved using a gib plate.
In order to have perfect interchangeability of the chuck on board the machine, and item gripper jaws, we carry out final truing and height grinding operations with the chuck assembled and with pressure at the same number of bar required by the customer. This also allows real work conditions to be simulated better.
