Description and application of the radial head.
The radial head R is a head for recesses with mechanical drive.
The radial head is necessary in mechanical machining which envisage machining with work piece stationary and tool moves.
Fixing of the head is carried out using screw threads in the body of the head.
The internal ground toothing chaser has kinematic motion. This solution guarantees the inversion motion of the tool play of no greater than 0.02 mm.
The internal thrust angle is 35° and consequently multiplies the force of the tie rod and decreases the stroke.
In the body of the chuck threaded holes are provided to house adjustment dowels to limit the stroke of the carriage.
The body also houses lubricators which directly lubricate the slides. |
